
Karate 空手道
We offer both Kyokushin Karate (Full-contact Karate), and Shitoryu Karate (Sports Karate).
Kyokushin Karate is the hard-core, full-contact style of karate that remains as a true martial art instead of a sport. Our club is affiliated to the International Karate Organisation Kyokushinkaikan in Tokyo Japan under the Founder Mas Oyama.
Shitoryu Karate is one of the four main branch of traditional karate with its origin in Okinawa. It is widely popularized with its point-scoring system making its way in numerous international championships with one presence in the Olympics. We are affiliated to Seikokai in Tokyo, Japan, under Sensei Suzuki, third generation lineage from Ryusho Sakagami, Kenwa Mabuni.
Out chief instructor, Sensei Lai, holds a fifth dan in both Kyokushin and Shitoryu Karate.
Taekwondo 태권도
Taekwondo is a Korean martial art that has gained widespread popularity in the seventies having entered notable international championships including the Olympics.
Relying primarily on kicks, Taekwondo practitioners display a spectacular array of techniques in competitions that often leave the audience in awe.
Training is intense and requires dedication in speed and agility.
Kick Boxing
Derived from Muay Thai and Karate, Kick Boxing can vary extensively in various disciplines ranging from point scoring to full-contact knock-out system.
Our club attempts to meet the needs of the diverse interest out there but we keep training safe with paddings as a must during practice, and brutal elbow and knee strikes are kept only for special training sessions.
Kobudo 古武道
Kobudo is the ancient weaponry used by the Okinawan warriors. Along with Karate, it was spread to the Japanese island, but was not promoted as heavily.
Today, Kobudo is only practiced in a few selected places in Singapore, though there are notable Kobudo tournaments in Japan.
The primary weapons uniquely associated with Kobudo are, the Bo (quarter staff), Sai , Nunchaku, Tonfa, ...etc.
We practice the weaponry kata, its usage, and also pre-staged fight sequence for demonstrations and competitions.
Boxing
Boxing is a Western invention accepted into the Olympics as a sport.
Not only it is a very good cardiovascular exercise, it has effective combative functions.
Relying solely on the upper body in attack and defence, boxing also demands agility and quick footwork, making it complete in a full body workout.
Self Defence
Self defence techniques refers to purely defensive technics against street assault where there are no tournament rules to ensure safety.
It covers weapons attack and ground defense as well.

Whether your aim is to sculpt the perfect body, or to compete professionally, our trainers provide the relevant training and will guide you through your journey.
It is a long process, but safety is our main concern. Our coaches are well certified and can draft out programs that best suit your existing frame to achieve your goal int he most conducive timeframe.
Sports Specific Weights
For athletes with needs to develop strength in specific muscle groups to enhance their performance in the particular sport they are in, we are specialized in focusing on such demands and have the professionalism to cater to all categories of sports.
HIIT (Combat Fitness)
Our HIIT program incorporates striking and dodging techniques from kickboxing to keep the exercise exciting.
A fast pace music ensures the attention is on the fun in participation, than the rigorous workout it demands.
Rotating around cardio exercise, yoga stretching and body weight conditioning on five-minute rounds each, the routine is structured to facilitate a comprehensive toning of the body ensuring continuous warm down at each interval.
